Through a Window (2010) - Dan Becker

The title Through A Window has two intended meanings. While hoping to suggest the exploration of past and present, it also refers to my one and only memory of my grandfather, who passed away when I was four years old. When visiting my grandparents, my mother and father would routinely drive up to a street-level window off the driveway and hand me up and out through the car window into the arms of my grandfather, who would be waiting inside. He would simply reach out and scoop me, through his open window, into the house.
